It was Ag Man’s birthday on Saturday, which means this girl was full of surprises. Did you know those cards that play music require four stamps to mail? Not two, but four? So when the envelope says “extra postage required” it really means more than two. Needless to say I owe the birthday boy $1.05.

Moving on, I have to thank everyone who brought over a cake, cookies, cinnamon rolls, brownies and other delicious treats. It was a hit! I don’t know who had more fun; me watching him answer the door time after time (getting more confused with each visit) or him indulging in so many goodies. He was finally able to make sense of it all at dinner when he realized he had pretty near 26 desserts, and for those of you that don’t know, he is now 26 years old. Best surprise yet!

We spent the evening watching bull ridin’, buckin’ broncos, and barrel racin’ at the rodeo.
