Here is another touching cattle story that I just have to share with all y’all! And we all know that Angus cattle have a special place in my heart, but anyway, moving on. Ryan Goodman, author of Agriculture Proud has partnered with the American Angus Association to tell his cattle story. I have been following Ryan’s blog for quite some time now and he is doing great things in the agriculture industry, specifically in the beef industry.

I, too, remember many hours spent at cattle sales with my dad, picking out the perfect show heifer. I especially appreciate the emphasis Ryan places on mentors. A big part about farming, and even life, is building relationships, building upon previous generations, and networking. I know our cattle operation has definitely grown from the people we have met along the way. If it hadn’t been for a few mentors, we would not be where we are today.
